Katy Perry Orlando Bloom Japan Trip 2025

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom celebrated the New Year in Tokyo, Japan, sharing glimpses of their serene getaway on social media. The couple, who have been together since 2016 and share a four-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, documented their trip with photos of yoga sessions, temple visits, and cozy moments.

Orlando, 47, posted a series of Instagram photos on Monday, captioning them, ‘Japan Tokyo, my home away from home. Amazing to ring it in with my Buddhist family. HNY.’ The images included a shirtless yoga session against a stunning sunset backdrop and a selfie with Katy in matching black hats.

Katy, 40, also shared highlights from their trip, including a couple’s yoga session in a hotel gym overlooking the Tokyo skyline. The ‘Firework‘ singer wore a brown sports bra and leggings, while Orlando showcased his toned physique in black shorts. ‘Sending love to all in this next year,’ Katy wrote to her 205 million followers. ‘The new year is always an opportunity for transformation.’

The couple toasted the New Year with sake at a sushi restaurant and enjoyed a gift of fresh fruit in their suite. Their trip highlighted their shared love for mindfulness and family. ‘We want to evolve,’ Katy said in a recent podcast interview. ‘That’s why we’re in our relationship—to become better humans so we can raise this beautiful human being.’

Despite their idyllic getaway, Katy has been candid about the challenges of their relationship. In a September interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, she revealed, ‘Orlando and I, when we argue, we argue kinda hot and fast and then cool really quickly. It’s like, ‘la la la I love you. Let’s move on.’’ She praised Orlando for his acts of service, joking, ‘If I come downstairs and the kitchen is clean, you better be ready to get your d–k sucked.’

The couple’s trip to Japan marked a fresh start after a challenging 2024 for Katy, who ended her seven-year run on ‘American Idol‘ and faced disappointment with her album ‘143.’ Their New Year’s celebration emphasized their commitment to growth, mindfulness, and family.
