LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Katy Perry, the 40-year-old pop star, revealed in a Jan. 22 interview that she still keeps the pregnancy test from when she discovered she was expecting her daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, whom she shares with fiancé Orlando Bloom, 48.

“Here is my pee stick test for when I conceived my daughter Daisy Dove Bloom,” Perry said during the interview, holding up a photo of the test. “And Orlando was gone, and I called him. I FaceTimed him, I was on a hike. I was like, ‘Guess what?’ And I still have it, and that’s weird, but it’s not. I don’t care.”

Perry shared that the test is stored in a drawer at home, alongside other sentimental items. “It’s in a drawer with lots of things. You know what else is in a drawer? It’s probably right next to Orlando’s Legolas ears,” she joked, referencing Bloom’s iconic prop from his role in “The Lord of the Rings.”

Perry and Bloom welcomed Daisy in August 2020. The couple has been open about their journey into parenthood, with Perry often sharing heartfelt moments about motherhood. On Mother’s Day in May 2024, Perry posted a tribute to her mother on Instagram, writing, “Today I told my mother that the day I realized how much she loved me is the day I had my own daughter, Daisy Dove. There is nothing like a Mother’s love. Never take it for granted.”

In August 2024, Perry appeared on an episode of a popular series where she revealed Daisy’s current obsession with Hello Kitty. “Daisy’s really into Hello Kitty right now,” Perry said, showing a Hello Kitty-themed watch from her bag. She hinted at throwing a Hello Kitty-themed birthday party for Daisy’s upcoming fourth birthday.

Perry also shared that Daisy is equally enamored with Peppa Pig. “My daughter is super obsessed with Peppa Pig,” Perry said, adding that she even made a guest appearance on the show to score “points” with her daughter. “I just did it so I could get points with my daughter,” Perry said with a smile. “I need more and more and more points.”

Perry’s latest album, “143,” includes a song titled “Lifetimes,” inspired by her daughter. “I tell her ‘I love you’ before she goes to bed every night, but I’ve started telling her ‘Will you find me in every lifetime?’ And she says ‘Yes,’” Perry explained. “I just think you can find your soulmate, it can be your best friend, your pet, your daughter. They come in many shapes and forms.”
