Kelly Clarkson Stuns at Grammy Awards with Son Remington as Her Special Date
Grammy Award-winning singer Kelly Clarkson made quite the impression at the 2024 Grammy Awards, and it wasn’t just because of her stunning gown. The talented artist brought along her 7-year-old son, Remington Alexander, as her special date for the evening.
Clarkson, known for her hit songs and her talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, wowed on the red carpet in an elegant cream off-the-shoulder gown, with loose waves cascading down her shoulders. However, it was little Remington who stole the show with his adorable presence.
Dressed in a dapper red velvet tuxedo, complete with a Lego boutonniere, Remington looked every bit the mini fashionista. The mother-son duo was there to support Clarkson, as her latest album had been nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album.
This wasn’t the first time Remington joined his mom on stage. In August 2023, during her Las Vegas Residency aptly titled Chemistry: An Intimate Night with Kelly Clarkson, Remington and his older sister, River Rose, got the chance to perform with their talented mom. The siblings picked songs from Clarkson’s repertoire, with Remington choosing “Whole Lotta Woman” and River opting for “Heartbeat Song.”
After their heartwarming performance, Clarkson shared a backstage photo on her official Instagram page, showcasing her beaming smile alongside her two children. In the caption, she expressed her love and pride for her little ones, saying, “nothing will ever be as cool and amazing as these two little humans that will always have my whole heart.”
In addition to his talent for performance, Clarkson revealed that Remington also loves watching movies. During an interview with actor Kyle Chandler in 2022, where they discussed his film Slumberland, Clarkson remarked that her son was so engrossed in the movie that he wouldn’t let her pause it for any reason.
Clarkson’s dedication to her children is evident, as she has spoken in the past about how being a mom has impacted her life. She believes that parenting makes you stronger and selfless, and it has become the most challenging but rewarding job she has ever had.
