Kelsea Ballerini Clears Air on Halsey Feud Rumors

Kelsea Ballerini has officially put rumors of a feud with Halsey to rest. During a concert on May 14, 2025, Ballerini addressed speculation about her relationship with the singer, sharing a supportive video of Halsey’s concert. She captioned the clip, “forever a @iamhalsey fan,” indicating that any tension between the two artists seems to have been resolved.

The rumors about a falling out began in 2022 after the release of Ballerini’s song “Doin’ My Best.” The lyrics contain reflections on a friendship gone sour, which many interpreted as a reference to Halsey. In a September 2022 interview with Rolling Stone, Ballerini clarified that the song was not meant to be shady. Instead, she described it as a genuine expression of her struggles, including her divorce from Morgan Evans.

Ballerini explained, “I wanted to acknowledge all of the things that people have watched happen in my life. And just go, ‘Yep. Here’s the messiness. I’m owning it, I’m doing my best.'” She has been candid about the difficulties of maintaining friendships during personal transitions, which contributed to the public’s interest in her lyrics.

The line in question drew mixed reactions, with some labeling it as “cringey,” but it also highlighted Ballerini’s determination to take ownership of her experiences.
