Rich KJT, the son of renowned journalist Kemi Olunloyo, has recently reacted to an open letter addressed to his family by actress Iyabo Ojo.

In the letter, Iyabo Ojo extended her plea to Kemi’s children, urging them to forgive and support their mother despite any disagreements while expressing empathy towards their family’s situation.

Clarifying the situation, Rich KJT debunked claims of disownment made against their mother, emphasizing that the allegations stemmed from a fake social media account exposed back in 2019. He also emphasized that his brother, who has autism, is not active on social media.

Rich KJT reiterated that their family stands united in love and support for their mother, and they do not require external assistance in this matter.

Addressing Iyabo Ojo directly, Kemi Olunloyo’s son urged for direct communication between Ojo and their mother without involving them in the discourse.

Meanwhile, media personality Shade Ladipo weighed in on the practice of changing names post-marriage, advising women to carefully deliberate on the implications before making such a decision.

Ladipo shared her personal experience of refraining from immediate name change upon marriage, citing the two decades dedicated to building her personal brand as ‘Shade Ladipo’ prior to marriage. She cautioned newlywed women against hastening name changes, particularly on official documents.

Reflecting on the advice, Ladipo encouraged individuals to take their time in navigating name changes, underscoring the significance of one’s personal brand identity.
