STAMFORD, Conn. — Supermodel and reality star Kendall Jenner made a surprise appearance at Lakeside Diner, delighting fans and locals alike during New York Fashion Week.

Jenner, 29, stopped by the popular eatery on February 11 with two friends, seeking a break from the city bustle. The group indulged in omelettes, pancakes, coffee, and the diner’s renowned cinnamon sugar donuts.

“It was lovely,” said diner owner Jane Agostino. “She’s beautiful. When she came in, I knew it was her right away.”

According to Agostino, one of Jenner’s companions had frequented Lakeside Diner before and was eager to share the experience with the model. The group remained seated for about an hour, enjoying their meals while most patrons remained oblivious to their celebrity sightings.

Jenner documented her visit on Instagram, sharing a photo from inside the diner, which has become a beloved spot for locals over the decades. The photo appears in a series of images from her trip, which also included visits to the Glass House in New Canaan.

Jenner was in New York for Fashion Week, where she walked the runway for Calvin Klein’s Autumn/Winter 2025 show on February 7. Despite her celebrity status, Jenner’s diner outing felt intimate and approachable.

“They ate quite well,” Agostino recounted, adding that the atmosphere inside the diner remained low-key. “Nobody really noticed her — just a lovely breakfast.”

Locals on social media expressed their surprise and admiration at seeing the supermodel at a diner they hold dear. “Not Kendall Jenner at a diner I grew up going to back home…” one Instagram user remarked, highlighting a sense of pride in their local establishment.

Lakeside Diner, located at 1050 Long Ridge Road, has been serving customers since the 1950s and has been under Agostino’s ownership since 1987. The diner not only offers a menu filled with comfort food but also boasts a scenic view of Holts Ice Pond.

Agostino encourages guests to savor their dining experience without distractions. “Enjoy the view of wildlife, turn off your phone, talk to your neighbor, and reward yourself with a fresh donut,” she said.

Jenner’s brief retreat from fashion week to the diner brought a touch of glamour and excitement to Stamford, further solidifying Lakeside Diner as a notable destination.
