Kendrick Lamar to Headline Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show in New Orleans
NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Grammy-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show at Caesars Superdome on February 9, 2025. Producers are hiring approximately 500 Field Team members to assist with stage assembly and movement for the performance.
Applicants must be over 18, in good physical health, and available for all rehearsals. No prior experience is required, but Field Team members will not receive game tickets. Interested individuals can apply now through the official website.
The Super Bowl, set for 6:30 p.m. ET on February 9, will mark the eighth time the Caesars Superdome has hosted the event and the 11th time New Orleans has done so, tying Miami for the most all-time. The last Super Bowl held at the Superdome was in 2013, when the Baltimore Ravens defeated the San Francisco 49ers 34-31.
Security will be tight following a recent incident in New Orleans that injured at least 57 people. Authorities are working with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure safety during the event.
The game will air on Fox, with Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady providing commentary, and Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi reporting from the sidelines. Streaming options include the Fox Sports app.
Kendrick Lamar, a 17-time Grammy winner, previously performed at the 2022 Super Bowl in Inglewood, California, alongside Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Mary J. Blige.
