Kevin Hart and Norah Jones to Perform at Montauk Lighthouse This Summer

Montauk, New York — This summer, the iconic Montauk Lighthouse will host renowned performances by comedian Kevin Hart and singer Norah Jones. Kevin Hart will bring his “Acting My Age” tour to the lighthouse on July 12 for a benefit concert supporting the Montauk Point Lighthouse.

Hart, a multi-talented entertainer known for his comedy specials and numerous accolades, announced his concert on May 19. Tickets for the event will go on sale to the public on Thursday, May 22 at 10 a.m. ET. A presale will be available for fans on Wednesday, May 21 at the same time.

“The concert will be unique as it will not allow phones or smart devices in the performance area,” said an event spokesperson. Guests will have their devices secured in specially designed pouches upon arrival, limiting phone use to designated areas during the show.

Joining Hart in this summer lineup is Norah Jones, who will perform on August 2. Proceeds from her concert will benefit the Montauk Historical Society. This is part of a series of charity events organized by New York-based Murmrr Presents, which successfully hosted concerts last summer featuring artists like John Mulaney.

Tickets for Norah Jones’ performance will also go on sale on May 22 at 10 a.m. local time. Gates will open at 5 p.m. for a pre-show celebration accompanied by a DJ, with food and drinks available before her concert at 8 p.m.

The Montauk Historical Society, which owns the lighthouse, depends on events like these to raise the necessary funds to maintain the lighthouse and its museum, with operational costs exceeding $1.5 million annually.

More events are planned at nearby venues, including Canoe Place Inn and Cottages, which has seen a growth in popularity thanks to its historic ballroom equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting. Artists praise the venue for its acoustics and intimate atmosphere, creating a memorable experience.
