Kevin James Gets Stuck In Hilarious Meme Pose During The Tonight Show Interview

During a recent interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, actor and comedian Kevin James revealed the origin story behind a viral meme featuring his iconic pose from the hit sitcom King of Queens. The meme, which took the internet by storm a few months ago, has spawned countless variations and gained widespread popularity.

James explained to Fallon that the meme originated from a photoshoot he did for the show many years ago. Initially, he was just happy to be on a sitcom and followed the photographer’s instructions to do goofy poses. Little did he know that one particular pose, where he shrugged sheepishly while wearing plaid, would become a viral sensation.

Despite requesting the photographer to bury that photo, James found himself reminded of it 25 years later when the meme resurfaced and became a viral sensation. Fallon shared some of his favorite memes featuring the photo, including one where James is portrayed as a talented cook and another where he is the humorous friend in a group chat.

However, the highlight of the segment was when Fallon and James acted out a hilarious skit where they both became stuck in the meme pose. In a dream sequence, they found themselves surrounded by zombie-like crew members also stuck in the pose, creating a comical and unexpected twist.

While the meme has brought joy to many, James expressed hesitation about the possibility of a King of Queens reboot, citing the absence of his co-star Jerry Stiller, who passed away in 2020. James stated that it would be challenging to continue the show without Stiller’s incredible talent.

On a lighter note, Fallon congratulated the University of Maryland football team for their clever use of the meme during a game. The team’s scoreboard operator displayed the meme on the Jumbotron, causing a hilarious distraction for the opposition’s field goal kicker. Fallon praised the creativity and humor of the prank.
