KILL: The Unexpected Bollywood Hit

Published

on

KILL, the latest action thriller from Bollywood, directed and written by Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt, has taken the box office by storm. The film, presented by renowned filmmaker Karan Johar, stars a talented cast and features gripping action sequences that have caught the audience’s attention.

Since its release, KILL has received positive reviews, which is quite impressive for a movie in the action genre. The film has grossed approximately 41 crores globally, drawing viewers nationwide with its exciting storyline and intense fight scenes.

Interestingly, KILL is now available on OTT platforms. However, there’s a twist: it’s not accessible to audiences in India just yet. After just three weeks of theatrical release, the film is being screened for international viewers in the USA and the UK. To watch it on Amazon Prime Video, audiences will need to pay $24.99.

For fans of the film eager to enjoy it on digital platforms in India, they will have to wait until September. The delay is primarily because the film is still running in theaters across the country.

The rights to remake KILL for Hollywood have been secured by Chad Stahelski, known for directing the action-packed John Wick series. His interest in the film grew after watching the preview, expressing excitement in bringing this Indian production to an international audience.

Chad described KILL as one of the most vibrant and creative action films he has seen recently. He praised the fight sequences crafted by Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt, showcasing the film’s potential for a thrilling English-language adaptation.

The confirmation of the KILL remake was announced recently by Lionsgate Motion Pictures, with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions being one of the key producers, alongside Sikhya Entertainment.
