Kim Cattrall Embodies Confidence in New Charlotte Tilbury Campaign

NEW YORK, NY — Iconic actress Kim Cattrall stars in the latest campaign for Charlotte Tilbury, promoting the brand’s Pillow Talk Beauty Soulmates collection. The campaign aims to celebrate individuality, beauty, and self-expression, featuring new makeup products designed to empower confidence.
Cattrall, known for her iconic role as Samantha Jones in “Sex and the City,” understands the importance of self-love and authenticity, leveraging her experiences in front of and behind the camera. In a recent interview, she shared her beauty philosophy, expressing how her perspectives have evolved over the years.
“I call Pillow Talk the ‘get what you want’ shade because it transforms you into the most beautiful, confident, and empowered version of yourself,” Cattrall stated. “Who needs a man when you’ve got Pillow Talk?” The actress emphasizes the role of makeup in enhancing one’s self-image, stating that makeup should be a reflection of personal style rather than a mask to conceal one’s true self.
Cattrall believes in a more natural approach as she ages. “For me, especially as I get older, less is more,” she remarked. “I wanted to accentuate the positive but also look like me.” This sentiment rings true as she discusses her fondness for lipstick, particularly in shades like the Pillow Talk collection, which she describes as glamorous and sophisticated.
The Pillow Talk Beauty Soulmates collection includes a new Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder and a Pillow Talk Love Blush, both aimed at achieving a fresh and healthy glow. Additionally, four new lipstick shades promise long-lasting and hydrating colors inspired by love.
“Charlotte puts so much confidence out there for young women,” Cattrall said, highlighting her admiration for Tilbury’s mission to encourage self-expression and creativity. “Makeup should be fun. It’s about experimenting.”
Cattrall reflects on her past, recalling a time when she felt pressured to fit a certain mold in Hollywood. “When I was younger, I felt a real need to, in some ways, put up a mask of who I was,” she admitted. “But the older I’ve gotten, I’ve learned to embrace my vulnerability.”
The campaign’s philosophy extends beyond makeup, inviting women to explore their identity through beauty. “What Charlotte is trying to encourage women to do is to try something bold, to be confident enough to mix it up,” Cattrall explained. “If it doesn’t work, who cares? There’s another color you can try.”
In her role as a beauty ambassador, Cattrall hopes to inspire others to embrace their complexities and feel empowered in their choices. “It takes a lifetime really, because to go out on a limb takes a lot of courage,” she emphasized.
The Pillow Talk Soulmates collection officially launches on March 7, available on charlottetilbury.com and select retailers afterward. This collaboration marks another milestone in Cattrall’s beauty career, following recent partnerships with Lancôme and Ole Henriksen.
