Xo Kitty Season 2 Netflix Seoul South Korea

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Fans of Netflix‘s “XO, Kitty” can mark their calendars: The beloved spinoff series returns for its second season on Jan. 16, 2025. Rolling Stone has exclusively revealed a first look at the soundtrack and key images from the new episodes, promising more drama, romance, and self-discovery for Kitty Song-Covey.

Set in Seoul, South Korea, the series follows Katherine “Kitty” Song-Covey (Anna Cathcart), the spirited younger sister from the “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” trilogy. This time, Kitty is navigating her own love story, attending the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS) to reconnect with her boyfriend Dae and uncover secrets about her late mother, who was an alumna of the school. However, her journey is far from smooth, as she grapples with relationship confusion, her sexuality, and a host of new characters.

“Last semester ended with so much drama,” Kitty says in the Season 2 trailer. “This semester I have my priorities straight. I’m ready to launch Kitty 2.0.” But her plans are complicated by lingering issues from Season 1, including her expulsion scare after sneaking into the boys’ dorm and her unresolved feelings for Yuri, who is in a seemingly happy relationship.

The new season also features a star-studded soundtrack, with tracks from artists like Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, IVE, and Troye Sivan. The music, a hallmark of author Jenny Han‘s projects, adds depth to the emotional and dramatic moments of the series.

Fans of the “To All the Boys” universe will be thrilled to see familiar faces, including Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo), who makes a surprise appearance. With new crushes, fresh challenges, and Kitty’s determination to uncover her mother’s past, Season 2 promises to deliver the same charm and chaos that made the first season a hit.
