MIAMI, Fla. — Rapper Kodak Black welcomed his fifth child, Prince Vulture Octave Kapri, on Jan. 1, 2025, with an unnamed woman, sparking renewed speculation about his relationship with Maranda Johnson, a real estate agent and reality TV star. The birth comes just months after Johnson gave birth to their second child, Prince Kapri, in February 2024.

The mother of the newborn, identified only as @the__onee on Instagram, shared photos of the baby alongside his birth certificate but made no mention of Kodak Black in her post. The rapper, however, was present at a gender reveal party for the child in August 2024, as seen in her social media posts.

Kodak Black and Maranda Johnson have been in an on-again, off-again relationship since 2017. The couple shares two children: daughter Queen Yuri and son Prince Kapri. Despite their long history, neither has publicly commented on the current status of their relationship. Kodak Black now has five children with four different women.

Johnson, 26, is a rising star in South Florida’s real estate scene, working under broker Sharelle Rosado at Allure Realty. In a 2024 interview with Shout Out Miami, she praised the agency’s supportive environment, saying, “Allure isn’t like most firms. Business is paramount, but the sisterhood, guidance, and support we provide each other is invaluable.” She also expressed ambitions to expand beyond real estate, stating, “I plan to venture out into other industries and conquer them too.”

Johnson is set to appear in Netflix’s new reality series, “W.A.G.s to Riches,” which premiered on Jan. 22, 2025. The show follows the lives of nine women linked to high-profile athletes and musicians. Johnson, the youngest cast member, has also pursued entrepreneurship, launching her cosmetics brand, Seven Luke Cosmetics, in 2018.

However, her relationship with Kodak Black has been marred by controversy. In 2024, Johnson was arrested for burglary, battery, and grand theft following an altercation with Jammiah Broomfield, the mother of Kodak’s first child, King Khalid Octave. The incident reportedly stemmed from tensions over Kodak’s involvement with Broomfield and their son.

Kodak Black, whose real name is Bill K. Kapri, has remained silent on the recent developments. His growing family and complex personal life continue to draw public attention as he balances fatherhood with his music career.
