Silent Hill F Game Trailer

LOS ANGELES, CA — Konami has officially announced that its new survival horror game, Silent Hill f, will be released on September 25, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The announcement was made during PlayStation’s State of Play event on June 4, 2025, along with the debut of a haunting new trailer.

In Silent Hill f, players will step into the shoes of Shimizu Hinako, a high schooler from the fictional town of Ebisugaoka in 1960s Japan. As Hinako, players will navigate her eerie hometown, enveloped in fog and nightmare-like transformations. The game emphasizes decision-making, allowing players to determine Hinako’s fate as she confronts the horror around her.

“Find the beauty in terror” is a key concept behind the game’s development, according to producer statements. Silent Hill f will showcase an authentic depiction of 1960s Japan, with visuals presented in striking 4K resolution. The artistic direction combines traditional Japanese horror with the franchise’s signature unsettling elements, under the guidance of art director Kera.

Sound will also play a vital role in the game; the score is crafted by Akira Yamaoka, a veteran of the series, and Kensuke Inage. Their music aims to evoke both the feelings of nostalgia and horror as players dive deeper into Hinako’s struggles.

The gameplay will feature unique puzzles tied to psychological themes, connected intricately with Japanese culture, such as the imagery of scarecrows. The game’s combat system will focus more on melee action, providing a challenging yet engaging experience for players.

Silent Hill f acts as a standalone spinoff, meaning newcomers can enjoy it without needing prior knowledge of the series. However, longtime fans can expect several Easter eggs within the game. Pre-orders are now available on major platforms, including the PlayStation Store.

As the next chapter in the Silent Hill franchise, Silent Hill f promises to deliver a thrilling exploration of its psychological horror roots, with more details and announcements set to be revealed in the coming months.
