LOS ANGELES, March 31, 2025—Reign Disick, the 10-year-old son of reality star Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick, addressed longstanding internet rumors regarding his parentage during an Instagram Live session on Friday. In a surprising response, he vehemently denied speculation that pop star Justin Bieber is his biological father.

The incident occurred while Reign was joined by his stepsister Alabama Barker’s boyfriend, Scooter Jackson. When a viewer posed the question whether Bieber, 31, was his dad, Reign quickly rebutted, stating, “No, he’s not. Bro, I swear, Justin Bieber is not my dad. Scotty… Scotty… Scotty is my dad.”

Reign elaborated on the misconception, adding, “I don’t know how old my mom was, but I think Justin Bieber was 16 when I got born. I don’t think my mom would do that.” Although Bieber was actually 20 when Reign was born in December 2014, Reign appears confident in his lineage.

Reign’s mother, Kourtney Kardashian, 45, shares three children with Disick: Reign, Mason, 15, and Penelope, 12. Kardashian and Bieber were briefly linked romantically in 2015, shortly after her split from Disick, and they have remained friendly. However, the rumors surrounding Reign’s paternity have persisted through the years.

Back in 2016, multiple sources confirmed to PEOPLE that Kourtney and Bieber were seen together following his Purpose World Tour. “They have hooked up a few times, including recently. It happens in L.A.,” a source revealed at the time. “He has met her kids, but they don’t hook up around the kids.”

In recent discussions about their blended family, Kourtney expressed how her son Reign shares a sense of humor reminiscent of his father. “I don’t know where he gets a sense of humor. He’s like a Jim Carrey,” she joked during a confessional segment on her reality show, The Kardashians. “I think he’s starting to get that sense of humor. I’m like, just what we need.”

As speculation continues about celebrity relationships and family dynamics, Kourtney has addressed rumors directly before, particularly regarding her children. Just weeks prior to Reign’s Instagram Live, she released an Instagram Story to clarify rumors surrounding her oldest son, Mason, emphasizing their right to privacy and the inaccuracy of false narratives about their family.

While Kourtney has navigated public interest in her relationships and family life, Reign’s live statement reinforces his bond with his father, Scott Disick, and dispels claims about his supposed connection to Justin Bieber, cementing that family definitions can be more than societal assumptions.
