KYK Scholarship and Credit Applications Open via e-Devlet
The Minister of Youth and Sports, Osman Aşkın Bak, announced on social media that students who have been newly admitted to a higher education program for the 2024-2025 academic year, those continuing in their current programs, and Turkish citizens studying abroad can now apply for scholarships and credits through the Credit and Dormitories Institution (KYK). The application process will be open until 11:59 PM on October 13th and can be completed via the e-Devlet platform.
Students wishing to modify their application details can do so on e-Devlet until the submission deadline. It’s crucial for students to verify their educational details on e-Devlet, and those noticing any discrepancies should seek corrections through the registrar’s office of their respective universities.
Meanwhile, Meryem Sürmen, a member of the AK Party’s Central Executive Committee, discussed the upcoming party congress timeline during an event held in Trabzon to promote female entrepreneurship. She mentioned that the congress activities will commence in mid-October across districts and are expected to culminate with a major congress by May or June in alignment with President Erdoğan’s schedule. Sürmen dismissed any speculations about early elections, stating her belief in timely conduct of elections.
In another community engagement, Akçaabat Mayor Osman Nuri Ekim met with residents of Çakırlar Yeşilvadi site in Söğütlü Neighborhood to listen to their requests and discuss municipal projects. Ekim emphasized the importance of such meetings in strengthening communication with the public.
