Kylie Minogue Unveils 2025 Australian Tour and New Album ‘Tension II’
Kylie Minogue, the renowned Australian pop artist, has announced a new world tour commencing in 2025, along with the release of her latest album, ‘Tension II‘. Following the massive success of her single ‘Padam Padam‘, Minogue’s tour will kick off in Australia and continue through Asia and the UK.
The Tension Tour is set to begin in Australia on February 15, 2025, at the RAC Arena in Perth. It will include performances in major cities such as Adelaide on February 18, Melbourne on February 20 and 21, Brisbane on February 26, and Sydney on March 1 and 2. Minogue expressed her excitement to reconnect with her fans and share new experiences.
The upcoming album ‘Tension II’ is scheduled for release on October 18, 2024. The collection will consist of 13 tracks, including nine new studio recordings, along with several collaborative works. The lead single, ‘Lights, Camera, Action’, is set to debut on September 27. Collaborations feature prominent artists like Sia, Bebe Rexha, and Orville Peck, highlighting the album’s diverse influences and electronic music elements.
Minogue’s announcement comes after a substantially successful year. Her previous album, ‘Tension’, achieved significant acclaim, topping the charts in Australia, and winning her a Grammy. The song ‘Padam Padam’ has also reinvigorated her chart presence globally, earning her a spot on Triple J‘s Hottest 100 and marking her triumphant return to the Grammy stage after two decades.
