Lady Gaga Jimmy Kimmel Live Wedding

Lady Gaga, renowned for her extravagant fashion choices and larger-than-life performances, recently shared details of her engagement and upcoming wedding plans during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” The pop star, who gained fame through hits like “Bad Romance” and her role in “A Star is Born,” spoke candidly about her fiancé, Michael Polansky, and how the couple is considering a low-profile courthouse wedding.

“We actually talk about going to the courthouse, just the two of us, and ordering Chinese food,” Gaga revealed on the show, suggesting a more intimate nuptial plan than one might expect from the artist. “Knowing me, also, it could become like a circus with unicorns,” she added humorously, highlighting the contrast between her low-key intentions and her notorious flair for the dramatic.

Gaga and Polansky’s engagement followed a unique and adventurous path. The singer shared that Polansky proposed after her birthday during a rock-climbing trip, a hobby they both enjoy together. “We climbed to the top, looked around, took some photos, and then went back down,” she recounted to Jimmy Kimmel. “It was very Michael to ask me if he could propose before he proposed, and I was like, ‘Yes, it’s so okay!'”

Michael Polansky, an entrepreneur and tech investor, manages various charities and businesses for Facebook co-founder Sean Parker. The couple’s relationship became public in 2020, when they appeared together in Miami for the Super Bowl, posting affectionate photos on Instagram.

Gaga also noted that during the proposal, Polansky chose not to kneel, which she appreciated. “He didn’t, but I’m a modern lady. I like what he did,” she explained, demonstrating her preference for a modern approach to the traditional proposal ritual.
