Lainey Wilson Announces Whirlwind World Tour with Stops in Europe and North America
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Grammy, CMA, and ACM Award-winning artist Lainey Wilson has confirmed her Whirlwind World Tour, set to kick off in March 2025. Produced by Live Nation and sponsored by Coors Light and Wrangler, the tour will include a stop at Saint Paul‘s Xcel Energy Center, among other venues across Europe and North America.
The announcement comes as Wilson celebrates another landmark year, with her album ‘Whirlwind’ nominated for Best Country Album at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards. Released in summer 2024 via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville, the album debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 chart, marking her first Top 10 entry. The record features her current Top 5 country radio single, ‘4x4xU,’ which is poised to become her eighth No. 1 hit.
Wilson, 32, revealed the tour in a playful parody news clip shared on Jan. 31, 2025. Standing in front of an interactive weather map, she quipped, ‘Life is a whirlwind, but I’ll tell you what — what you’re about to see here is a breeze.’ The clip humorously detailed the ‘weather conditions’ in various tour cities, with one of her opening acts serving as a correspondent.
The tour will begin in Europe in March before moving to North America in late May. Wilson will perform at music festivals and standalone shows across the United States and Canada. Joining her on select dates are artists including Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, and others.
Wilson’s Wild Horses fan club will have exclusive early access to tickets starting Tuesday, Feb. 4, at 8 a.m. local time. Citi card members and Verizon customers will also have presale opportunities, with general ticket sales beginning Friday, Feb. 7, at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
The Whirlwind World Tour is named after Wilson’s 2024 album, which she described as a reflection of her life over the past few years. ‘I hope this record brings peace to your ‘whirlwind’ and wraps its arms around you like it did me when I was writing and recording it,’ she said during the album’s release.
Fans attending the Xcel Energy Center shows are advised to review the venue’s bag policy, which restricts large bags and encourages mobile ticket entry for faster access. The venue will also operate on a cashless payment system for concessions, retail, and parking.
