Lana Condor Marriage Interview Public Appearance

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Actress Lana Condor shared insights into her marriage with Anthony De La Torre during the 33rd Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party on March 2, 2025. Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE, the 27-year-old actress explained a relationship rule that has positively impacted their bond.

“Our rule is to never go to bed angry with each other, which is harder said than done. But ultimately, it makes a huge difference,” Condor said. The couple, who met at an Emmys afterparty in 2015, became engaged in January 2022 and tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in October 2024.

Condor and De La Torre’s marriage is marked by distinct tastes, particularly when it comes to movie genres. “We are very similar in many ways, but movies and films? We are not aligned,” she said. Condor revealed her preference for thrillers while noting that her husband enjoys family-friendly films such as ‘Paddington the Bear.’ “I love thrillers, slashers, killing things, all those things. He loves Paddington the Bear. So we’re not necessarily aligned in the movie thing,” she quipped.

The couple recently watched ‘Oppenheimer‘ in IMAX, a film Condor described as “heavy” but amazing. “That was amazing. We were like, ‘Oh God, this is heavy,'” she recalled.

During a fashion show appearance on February 10, 2025, Condor expressed her excitement about married life. “I’m still getting used to calling him my husband, but it’s so much fun and I love him very much. I’m very happy,” she said.

Condor also showcased her new hairstyle at the Tory Burch Fall/Winter 2025 fashion show, where she debuted a dramatic set of curtain-style bangs. “I have bangs! I have what we’re calling a long wolf cut. It’s Tory Burch. We’re just trying to spice it up for her. So, we did a change and I’m so happy,” she shared.

Reflecting on her wedding experience, Condor commented in a November 2024 interview, “Being up there in front of all our friends and family, making the ultimate life vow, is a moment we will cherish forever.” She added, “It was such an emotional and joyous occasion. The feeling I could best use to describe it was peaceful and deeply present.”
