NEW YORK — Topps, the renowned sports card manufacturer, announced on June 1 the release of a unique autographed baseball card featuring comedy legend Larry David, best known for creating and starring in Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

The card, which debuted as part of Topps’ latest collection, showcases David in a baseball uniform from his portrayal of a member of the fictional Yari’s Autonomics softball team in Season 8 of Curb Your Enthusiasm. The season, filmed on location in New York City, featured David’s character participating in a comedic but memorable softball game.

“We’re thrilled to bring this iconic moment to baseball card collectors and fans of Larry David’s work,” said a Topps spokesperson. “This release highlights our commitment to blending pop culture with sports memorabilia, offering something truly unique for enthusiasts.”

The autographed card adds to Topps’ tradition of creating unconventional yet highly sought-after collectibles. Previous releases have included cards featuring Tom Brady in a Montreal Expos uniform and John Elway in a New York Yankees jersey, generating significant buzz among collectors.

Larry David, whose influence on comedy is undeniable, continues to attract new generations of fans. His autographed card is expected to become a holy grail for both baseball card enthusiasts and devotees of his work.

“This collaboration is a testament to the enduring appeal of Larry David’s legacy,” added the spokesperson.
