Laura Prepon and Ben Foster’s Divorce Settlement Reveals Stunning Monthly Incomes

Los Angeles, CA – The financial details of actress Laura Prepon and actor Ben Foster‘s divorce have come to light following their settlement finalized on April 14, 2025. Court documents reveal significant monthly incomes for both parties, as they navigate co-parenting their two children after six years of marriage.
The divorce was filed by Foster, 44, on September 9, 2024, citing irreconcilable differences. According to the marital dissolution agreement, Prepon, 45, will maintain primary custody of their minor children, with the children spending 227 days a year with her and 138 days with Foster.
Under the terms of the agreement, Foster will pay Prepon $5,500 per month in child support, based on his gross monthly income of $70,509.92 and Prepon’s monthly earnings of $22,205.50. Both parents will share joint legal custody and agree to cover their children’s private school tuition and related expenses, reflecting a commitment to co-parenting.
The couple, who married in 2018, has agreed to enforce the prenuptial agreement signed prior to their wedding. They also plan to sell the Tennessee home they shared, listed at $4 million, with the net proceeds split evenly.
Prepon’s representation was led by attorney Larry Hayes Jr., who secured for her all rights to their household goods, furniture, tools, and equipment. Foster will retain his 2021 Dodge Ram 1500 and 100 percent ownership of his business ventures.
While the divorce was amicable in terms of property division, accusations of alcohol-related issues surfaced during the proceedings. Prepon claimed Foster suffered from habitual drunkenness, which Foster’s attorney, Rose Palermo, quickly denied. In turn, Foster alleged improper marital conduct, which Prepon refuted, arguing that any actions taken were in response to his behavior.
The agreement also stipulates that both parties will not allow their employees to speak negatively about one another in front of the children. The couple expressed a desire to raise their children away from the public eye, a priority emphasized by Prepon in past interviews.
Despite a version of events laced with allegations and counter-allegations during the divorce process, the couple has reached a settlement that aims to ensure a stable co-parenting arrangement for their children.
