Under the guidance of manager Gareth Southgate, the English squad is aiming to clinch their first-ever championship victory, pitted against a formidable Spanish team.

As the final unfolds, viewers can tune in to both BBC and ITV, with the latter’s broadcast helmed by the seasoned Mark Pougatch alongside the esteemed Laura Woods. Hailing from Dagenham, Woods kickstarted her broadcasting journey after completing her print journalism degree at Kingston University.

Her professional voyage saw her ascent through the ranks at Sky Sports, commencing as a runner in 2009 and eventually transitioning into producing. Woods transitioned to presenting through behind-the-scenes interviews for Sky Sports’ darts coverage on YouTube, before landing roles on Game Changers and facilitating NFL and Soccer AM content.

Woods extended her repertoire further by becoming a familiar face on Super Sunday at Sky Sports, culminating in her departure from the network in 2022 after an impressive 13-year tenure. Post her Sky Sports era, Woods embarked on a new chapter as the anchor of ITV’s Friday night NFL highlights show, swiftly garnering recognition for her sports presenting prowess.

The multifaceted broadcaster additionally undertakes roles at DAZN, Amazon Prime Video, and TNT Sports, expanding her reach to report on boxing, women’s football, and other premier sporting events across various platforms.

In her personal life, Laura Woods recently revealed her relationship with Adam Collard, a former Love Island contestant. Their blossoming romance has captured attention, with Collard expressing his devotion and aspirations for a future with Woods, exemplifying a bond that transcends conventional norms.

Prior to her current relationship, Woods had a longstanding partnership with former England rugby player Alex Corbisiero. Following their amicable split, Woods articulated her focus on career pursuits, underscoring her dedication to professional growth and personal aspirations.

However, Woods encountered a distressing ordeal involving a persistent stalker, Harneet Kaur, whose actions instilled fear and necessitated heightened security measures for Woods. Kaur’s harassment campaign culminated in legal repercussions, with her pleading guilty to stalking and receiving a prison sentence and a restraining order.
