NEW YORK, NY – Broadway icon Lea Salonga is set to return as a presenter at the 78th Annual Tony Awards on Sunday, June 8, 2025. Known for making history as the first Asian woman to win a Tony for her role in “Miss Saigon,” Salonga has previously presented at the Tonys in 2017 and 2021.

This year’s ceremony will be held at the iconic Radio City Music Hall, where excitement is building for the event honoring excellence in Broadway theater. Celebrities like Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are also part of this star-studded lineup, preparing for their upcoming stage production of “Waiting for Godot.”

Joining Salonga on stage will be Glee alum Lea Michele and Aaron Tveit, who are set to present ahead of their musical “Chess.” The event will be hosted by Oscar-nominated actress Cynthia Erivo, whose strong stage presence is sure to enhance the celebratory atmosphere.

A total of 29 productions received nominations this season, with 26 competitive categories, ranging from acting to technical achievements like scenic and costume design. However, some technical awards will be presented off-air in pre-recorded segments, providing a unique experience for viewers.

The broadcast will air live from 8 to 11 p.m. Eastern / 5 to 8 p.m. Pacific on CBS and Paramount+. Ahead of the main event, a pre-show special titled “The Tony Awards: Act One” will air on Pluto TV from 6:40 to 8 p.m. ET.

With over 25 celebrities slated to present, including Adam Lambert, Allison Janney, and Oprah Winfrey, the 2025 Tony Awards promise to be a memorable night celebrating the best of Broadway.
