League Of Legends Patch 25.22 Features

CHENGDU, ChinaRiot Games has released Patch 25.22 for League of Legends, introducing significant changes on November 5, 2025, including new characters and rune adjustments.

This update brings fans the Machine Herald Viktor and Panda Pal Lux, with each character featuring distinct attributes inspired by Chinese culture. The release coincides with the 2025 World Championship being held in China.

In a move to balance gameplay, Riot has nerfed several overused runes while buffing options that players might overlook. The focus is to encourage diverse strategies for champion selection.

“We want to keep the game fresh and exciting,” said Lilu “Riot Riru” Cabreros. “Players will find new options that may enhance their gameplay experience.”

Panda Pal Lux, celebrating Chinese themes, will see all proceeds from her purchases donated to the Riot Games Social Impact Fund from November 5 to December 3, 2025.

Riot has made notable changes to champions such as Aurelion Sol and Talon, adjusting their strengths in different game phases. Aurelion Sol’s early game has received enhancements, while Talon will see nerfed effectiveness in the jungle to maintain balance.

LeBlanc and Skarner also have undergone adjustments. LeBlanc’s base stats are reduced to lower her viability for casual players, while Skarner receives buffs paired with nerfed cast times to promote fair gameplay across different skill levels.

Additionally, the patch has implemented changes to various runes. Riot aims to promote unique strategies by enhancing underused runes while toning down overly powerful ones.

“The adjustments provide players with greater choice and variety,” noted Caden “Riot Sakaar” House. “We’re always looking to enhance the gaming experience.”

This patch promises to shake up the competitive landscape and keep the gameplay engaging for both casual players and seasoned veterans alike. Players can expect to see the changes reflected in their gameplay immediately upon the patch’s release.
