Lee Brice Kodak Center Rochester Performance 2025

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Country music star Lee Brice brought his “You, Me & My Guitar” tour to the Kodak Center on Friday, Jan. 31, 2025, delivering a stripped-down, heartfelt performance that captivated the audience of over 2,300 fans.

The show began with Brice’s silhouette illuminated against a backdrop of personal and career highlights, setting the tone for an evening that felt more like a living room jam session than a typical concert. Armed with eight or nine guitars, each with its own story, Brice shared intimate details of his life and career, weaving them seamlessly into his setlist.

One of the night’s highlights was Brice’s recounting of his collaboration with country legend Garth Brooks. He performed “More Than a Memory,” a song Brooks recorded that Brice wrote, using a weathered Taylor guitar gifted to him by Brooks. “That was one of those moments where I realized I was living my dream,” Brice told the audience.

The performance was unscripted, with Brice playing songs in the order they came to mind, including his No. 1 hit “I Don’t Dance,” which he wrote for his wife. He also showcased his versatility by playing a few songs on the piano.

Brice’s connection with his band was evident when he invited his guitar tech, Simon, on stage to perform a few cover songs. The crowd cheered as Simon took the spotlight, showcasing his skills during solo parts.

In a touching moment, Brice shared a story about his 7-year-old daughter, Trulee, who inspired him to write “This Little Guitar.” A video of Trulee singing accompanied Brice’s live performance, adding a personal touch to the evening.

The setlist included fan favorites like “Drinking Class,” “Rumor,” “Hard to Love,” and “I Drive Your Truck,” with the audience singing along word for word. Brice closed the show with a music video for his new single, “Cry,” released the same day as the concert.

Opening act Nick Norman, Brice’s childhood friend, set the stage for the evening. The 18-stop tour continues through March 29, 2025, with its final show in Peoria, Ill.
