Lego Captain America Civil War Playset Details

ENFIELD, Conn. — LEGO has officially announced the release of its new playset based on the 2016 film Captain America: Civil War. This latest set, their first full playset since 2016, includes 736 pieces and is priced at $99.99.

The playset features eight minifigures: Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Falcon, Wanda Maximoff, Black Widow, Black Panther, and Winter Soldier. Each minifigure is designed with meticulous detail, capturing the essence of their cinematic counterparts.

Captain America retains his recognizable red, white, and blue outfit, complete with a brown harness on his torso. His double-sided head features a smile on one side and a chinstrap on the other, along with his signature shield as an accessory.

Iron Man debuts a technically new minifigure, featuring the Mark 46 suit with updated printing on the torso and legs. The dual-sided head also includes a HUD design on the reverse side, with accessories such as a repulsor blast and translucent-blue thruster pieces.

Spider-Man is introduced with a new minifigure, showcasing a red and dark blue suit. The updated design includes printing on the arms and dual-molded legs, with a long web string as his accessory.

Falcon’s minifigure, previously released in a more expensive set, features detailed torso designs and a new wing configuration with less sticker usage, accompanied by two guns.

Wanda Maximoff, sporting a dark red trench coat, is exclusive to this set. Her double-sided head portrays a stern face on one side and an angry expression on the other, with translucent-purple flames representing her hex abilities as accessories.

The Black Widow minifigure, while not new, has been revamped for 2025, featuring a black jumpsuit with a dual-sided head and batons as accessories.

New to this set is Black Panther in his black and silver suit, with silver accents on his vibranium necklace and mask, alongside claw accessories.

Finally, the Winter Soldier minifigure is introduced with detailed torso straps and dual-sided facial expressions. However, it lacks printing on the prosthetic arm.

The playset itself consists of multiple components, including a construction figure of Ant-Man, designed to be compatible in scale with other figures from the LEGO collection. This version is similar in design to the earlier Ant-Man construction figure released in 2023.

A small Quinjet is also featured, designed with a gray and black color scheme. The cockpit accommodates one minifigure and includes stud shooters for added playability.

The battlefield setting replicates the Leipzig-Halle Airport from the film, providing ample space for all characters and transparent pieces for flight poses. The set includes a terminal area and hangar, with interactive features like barrels that can explode with a lever.

Overall, while the playset serves as a tribute to the memorable characters of Civil War, opinions suggest it may lack the completeness and spaciousness desired by users. However, it effectively highlights the diverse minifigure lineup, appealing to collectors and fans alike.
