Geakers Tacos Food Truck Restaurant

BETHLEHEM TWP., Pa. — Geakers Tacos, a beloved eatery on Freemansburg Avenue, is officially up for sale after 25 successful years in business. The owners, Martha and Kevin Geake, have decided it’s time to retire and enjoy life beyond the food stand.

The bright orange food truck has become synonymous with tacos and casual dining in the Lehigh Valley. Known for their classic chicken and beef tacos, patrons also flock to try more unusual offerings, including gator tacos. Geakers’ menu includes milkshakes, burgers, hot dogs, and various side dishes like fried pickles and fries.

Martha Geake expressed her sentiment about selling the business. “We want to be able to enjoy our life a little more,” she said in an interview. Her husband, Kevin, now 72, shares her enthusiasm for stepping away from the daily grind.

Geakers has consistently ranked among locals’ top taco spots. Residents fondly recall the years the Geakes operated additional locations in Wind Gap and Nazareth. “We worked very hard over all of those years,” Martha noted.

Although they are selling their main location, the Geakes will not fade completely from the culinary scene. Their food truck operations will continue, and a satellite location at the Lehigh Valley Zoo, managed by their son, will remain open.

The restaurant is listed for sale at $375,000, a price reflecting its long-standing success and community ties. “We’re going to stay here as long as we’re able to,” Martha assured potential buyers, emphasizing a smooth transition for any new owner. “There’s no deadline.”
