Leon Black Apollo Global Management Stock Sale

NEW YORK, N.Y. — Leon D. Black, a prominent shareholder of Apollo Global Management, executed a substantial sale of shares on April 4, 2025. Black sold 607,725 shares at a price of $111.395 each, totaling approximately $67.7 million.

Following this transaction, Black’s direct ownership in Apollo Global Management stands at 33,997,048 shares, along with an indirect ownership of 5,500,000 shares through his spouse. Despite his significant holdings, Black disclaims beneficial ownership of any securities not directly owned.

In a related development, the LB 2018 GST Trust made a simultaneous acquisition of 607,725 shares of Apollo Global Management’s common stock, matching the quantity sold by Black at the same price of $111.395 per share. This investment also totals about $67.7 million, raising the Trust’s direct ownership to 621,754 shares.

Like Black, the Trust also disclaims beneficial ownership of any securities not directly owned, highlighting potential group affiliations under the Apollo Global Management, Inc. Stockholders Agreement.
