HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA – Actor Leonardo DiCaprio expressed a desire to revisit his iconic role as Jordan Belfort from the 2013 film, The Wolf of Wall Street, during a recent interview.

While promoting his upcoming film, One Battle After Another, DiCaprio said, “It would be fun to do more Wolf of Wall Street stuff.” The actor revealed this in an interview with E! that aired on September 10.

The original film, directed by Martin Scorsese, co-starred Margot Robbie and Jonah Hill. DiCaprio’s portrayal of the corrupt stockbroker earned him an Oscar nomination, marking his fourth nod from the Academy.

DiCaprio went on to win an Academy Award in 2016 for his performance in The Revenant. As he promotes his new movie, which features actors such as Benicio Del Toro, Sean Penn, and Teyana Taylor, he praised Taylor’s work in the film, saying she has “the best sense of humor.”

Reflecting on his career, DiCaprio also shared a regret about turning down the role of Dirk Diggler in Boogie Nights, a film directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. That role ultimately went to Mark Wahlberg. In August, DiCaprio remarked to Anderson, “My biggest regret is not doing Boogie Nights. It was a profound movie of my generation.”

Anderson confirmed in 2017 that DiCaprio had turned down the part due to scheduling conflicts with Titanic, which launched DiCaprio’s career to new heights.

One Battle After Another is set for theatrical release on September 26.
