LiAngelo Ball, the former basketball player turned rapper, has landed a major co-sign with hip-hop legend Lil Wayne on the remix of his debut single, ‘Tweaker.’ The remix, released on February 7, 2025, features Wayne’s signature flow and boasts a verse that references his journey from the “bleachers” to the “beaches.” This collaboration comes as Ball prepares to release his next single, ‘Can You Please?’

The remix arrives shortly after Wayne announced his upcoming album, which is scheduled to drop on June 6. Ball’s association with a rapper of Wayne’s stature is a significant boost for his burgeoning music career. In 2023, Wayne spoke to Rolling Stone about his longevity in the music industry and his willingness to collaborate with younger artists. He stated, “The motivation isn’t to show them that I’m still that dude, which I am.
