Lindsay Lohan Confirms ‘Freaky Friday’ Sequel with Jamie Lee Curtis in the Works
Lindsay Lohan has officially confirmed that a sequel to the hit film ‘Freaky Friday‘ is currently in development, with both herself and Jamie Lee Curtis set to reprise their iconic roles.
The beloved 2003 movie, inspired by the 1972 novel by Mary Rodgers, featured Lohan and Curtis in a hilarious mother-daughter body swap scenario that captured the hearts of many fans.
Fans of the original Disney classic, which was a remake of the 1976 version starring Barbara Harris and Jodie Foster, can look forward to witnessing the dynamic duo on screen once again.
Lohan, known for her roles in ‘The Parent Trap‘ and ‘Mean Girls‘, expressed her excitement about collaborating with Curtis again, sharing that they frequently keep in touch and discuss the upcoming project.
On the other hand, Curtis, often acclaimed as a ‘scream queen’ for her work in horror films like ‘Halloween‘ and ‘The Fog‘, recently clinched an Oscar for her remarkable performance in ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’.
The new installment of ‘Freaky Friday’ adds to Lohan’s list of upcoming projects, including the forthcoming Netflix romantic comedy ‘Irish Wish‘, further solidifying her presence in the entertainment industry.
