Live365 Expands Internet Radio Services to Mexico

LAS VEGAS — Live365, the popular platform for internet radio, has officially expanded its services into Mexico, offering full licensing for broadcasters. The announcement came during the 2025 NAB Show, showcasing Live365’s commitment to enhancing the North American digital broadcasting landscape.
This expansion allows broadcasters in Mexico to legally stream content using Live365’s services without the burden of obtaining individual licensing agreements. Live365 has partnered with SOMEXFON and EMMAC/SACM, two local rights organizations, to ensure compliance with Mexican laws.
“Launching in Mexico is a milestone for Live365 – not just expanding broadcaster reach but also embracing the dynamic culture of Mexico on our platform,” said Jason Stoddard, President of Live365. He noted that the strategic licensing partnerships would empower radio stations and creators to innovate and connect in unprecedented ways.
In addition to licensing, Live365 has secured distribution through iHeartRadio Mexico, thanks to a partnership with Grupo ACIR. This arrangement will provide even greater exposure for broadcasters, potentially increasing their audience by millions.
Manuel Pérez del Castillo, IT Director for Grupo ACIR and iHeartRadio México Project Leader, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration: “We’re excited to welcome Live365 to iHeartRadio in Mexico and confident that our listeners will enjoy the variety and quality of the new stations that will be available to all our users.”
To further support content creators, Live365 is also offering discounts to existing Radio Express customers, a company with over 40 years of experience in Mexican radio. Paul Hollins, CEO of Radio Express, emphasized the importance of adapting to digital landscapes: “With digital listening growing worldwide, it’s more important than ever for stations to go beyond FM and AM and become truly multi-platform.”
Current broadcasters on Live365 will receive additional licensing coverage for Mexico at no extra charge, ensuring a seamless transition for those eager to reach new audiences. Interested broadcasters can sign up and start streaming immediately.
Listeners in Mexico can explore thousands of stations live on the platform, creating opportunities for cultural exchange and community engagement through music and talk content.
