LOS ANGELES, Feb. 12, 2025 — Developer Ultizero Games announced today that its highly anticipated action RPG, Lost Soul Aside, will launch on May 30, 2025, for PC and PlayStation 5. The announcement coincided with a new trailer unveiled during the PlayStation State of Play presentation.

Lost Soul Aside has generated significant excitement since it was first revealed in 2016 as a solo project by creator Yang Bing. Initially showcased as part of the PlayStation China Hero Project, the game has since evolved, gaining both a development team and a dedicated fan base.

During the State of Play event, Ultizero Games provided a fresh look at the game’s immersive world, dynamic combat mechanics, and character designs. According to Bing, “What started as a one-person dream has evolved into a sprawling adventure full of breathtaking visuals and adrenaline-pumping combat.”

The game’s plot centers on Kaser’s quest to save his sister and humanity from dimensional invaders. Players will traverse diverse landscapes, including sunlit plains and ancient ruins that pulse with life. Combat is described as fluid and stylish, encouraging players to experiment and chain powerful combos.

“I aimed to design combat that packs a punch, making it so engaging that players won’t want to put down the controller,” said Bing. Kaser wields a shape-shifting weapon that adapts to various combat styles, giving players the ability to choose precision swordplay or devastating ranged attacks.

In addition to action, Lost Soul Aside promises a rich narrative exploring themes of redemption and discovery. Players will witness Kaser unraveling the secrets of his companion, Arena, as they face numerous challenges.

The game is set to be fully optimized for both platforms, with particular enhancements for the PlayStation 5. Pre-orders for Lost Soul Aside will open on February 19, 2025, on the PlayStation Store and PC storefronts, including Steam and Epic Game Store. The standard edition will be priced at $59.99, while a Digital Deluxe Edition will be available for $69.99, which includes additional bonuses.

“This journey has been incredible, and I’m beyond excited for you to step into Kaser and Arena’s world,” Bing expressed. The reveal adds a much-awaited chapter to the game’s lengthy development journey.
