Lucid Motors Offers Major Discounts on 2025 Air Models This May

Menlo Park, California — Lucid Motors is significantly cutting prices on its 2025 Air models, offering discounts of over $20,000 this May. The adjustments aim to increase sales of the luxury electric sedan, which has recently been recognized as the world’s most efficient car, boasting over 400 miles of range.

The discounts were announced earlier this month, with the 2025 Lucid Air Touring model available for leases starting at $599 per month for 36 months. Buyers can save up to $20,500 on select models, including $7,500 from a federal tax credit and a $10,000 Air Credit.

“We want to make our luxury EVs more accessible to a broader audience,” said a company spokesperson. The Lucid Air was the best-selling electric vehicle in the first quarter of 2025 and the third best-selling sedan overall, even when considering gas-powered cars.

The promotional offers also include bonuses for trade-ins, especially for Tesla vehicles, which can yield an additional $4,000. Eligible models include the Lucid Air Pure, starting at $69,900, and the top-of-the-line Grand Touring, priced at over $110,900.

Customers interested in purchasing or leasing must take delivery by May 31, 2025, to benefit from the discounts. Lucid reported a 28% increase in delivery numbers compared to the previous year, with 3,109 units sold in the past quarter.

As Lucid continues to expand its offerings, it has also announced plans for a lower-priced model to be launched later this year at a starting price of $79,900. The company is aiming to produce up to 20,000 vehicles by the end of 2026, further solidifying its presence in the electric vehicle market.
