HOUSTON — Country music artist Luke Bryan was inducted into the RODEOHOUSTON® Star Trail of Fame during a ceremony at NRG Center on Sunday, marking his significant contributions to the event. Bryan is now the 11th artist to receive this honor since its inception.
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLSR) acknowledged Bryan’s impactful history with the event; his most recent performance in 2025 was his 12th appearance since 2012. Bryan has established himself as a staple of the Rodeo, sharing the spotlight with legendary artists like Alan Jackson, George Strait, Reba McEntire, and Elvis Presley.
“Luke Bryan has consistently been one of the most desired performers at RodeoHouston, and his influence on our organization and our attendees is immeasurable,” said Chris Boleman, President and CEO of HLSR, during the induction ceremony.
In addition to the honor, the ceremony was attended by HLSR’s Chairman of the Board, Pat Mann Phillips, who praised Bryan’s longstanding connection with the community.
“What an honor it has been for me to perform at RodeoHouston for so many years,” Bryan stated. “The impact the Rodeo has on Texas students and the community is something I am so proud to have contributed to.”
According to recent statistics, Bryan has achieved over 22 billion global streams and sold 11.5 million albums worldwide. With 55.5 million track sales, he holds the title of the most digitally certified country artist ever, with 96.5 million digital single units and 18 million album-certified units.
Recognition of Bryan’s charitable efforts recently garnered him the ACM Lifting Lives Award, further highlighting his commitment to philanthropy.
The event serves as a reminder of the breakout impact that the Rodeo has on the community and the recognition it affords artists who contribute significantly to the cultural fabric of Texas.
