Charles & Ron New York Fashion Week Charity Event

Valletta, Malta – On October 25, Malta Enterprise will host its 5th Startup Festival, culminating in a unique finale that combines fashion and philanthropy. The event will showcase a runway presentation by internationally acclaimed designers Charles & Ron, featuring a collection debuted at New York Fashion Week.

This year’s festival is particularly special as it will conclude with a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative benefiting Victim Support Malta (VSM), an NGO that provides vital support to survivors of crime and trauma. “The Startup Festival has grown into Malta’s largest celebration of entrepreneurship, but its fifth anniversary demanded something truly unique,” said a Malta Enterprise spokesperson. “Instead of a closing speech, we wanted a statement through creativity and a worthy cause.”

Charles & Ron’s collection tells a story through fabric, starting with fiery red and flowing through various colors to culminate in white, symbolizing clarity and peace. “New York was about placing Malta on the global stage, but Malta is where our story lives,” Ron said. “This show is about giving back.”

Proceeds from the event will directly support VSM, which has offered professional assistance to individuals facing trauma since 2008. This year, efforts will focus on enhancing services for children and teenagers, providing them with safe spaces and specialized support. One survivor shared, “Reaching out for help is the hardest step, but VSM supported me without judgment and helped me realize my worth.”

The evening will take place at Montekristo Estate, promising guests an unforgettable experience filled with glamour and impactful storytelling. VIP tickets are selling quickly, ensuring premium seating and exclusive gifts from Charles & Ron. For Malta Enterprise, this event represents a reminder that innovation encompasses not just business growth, but also community impact and resilience.
