Manchester City Star Haaland Visits Popular Italian Restaurant Vero Moderno

Manchester City forward Erling Haaland recently made a delightful visit to the renowned Italian restaurant, Vero Moderno, situated on Chapel Street in Salford. The establishment has become a hotspot for Haaland and his fellow Manchester City teammates, with its authentic cuisine drawing in a host of footballing stars.

Vero Moderno, known for its rustic Italian menu with a contemporary twist, received high praise from Haaland, who presented the restaurant with a signed shirt expressing his gratitude for the exceptional dining experience.

The Italian restaurant, owned by Beppe Piccoli, has become a go-to spot for the Manchester City squad, with players like Jack Grealish, Ruben Dias, Aymeric Laporte, and Rodri frequently seen enjoying meals there alongside Haaland.

Not only frequented by City stars, Vero Moderno has also attracted TV personalities including Maxine Peake, as well as soap favourites from Hollyoaks and Corrie. Since its inception in 2017 at Vimto Gardens, the restaurant has established itself as a must-visit culinary destination in Salford.

Owner Beppe Piccoli, originally hailing from Rome, envisioned offering an authentic taste of Italy to Salford, steering clear of traditional Italian dishes like spaghetti bolognaise and lasagne. Instead, Vero Moderno aims to provide a unique and modern Italian dining experience.

The connection between Manchester City and Vero Moderno began with the team’s Italian coaching and physio staff, who discovered the restaurant’s authentic flavors. This initial discovery led to the entire City team becoming regular patrons of the establishment.

Beppe Piccoli expressed his gratitude for the support from City players and other patrons, emphasizing the restaurant’s commitment to providing excellent service and exceptional culinary experiences.
