ROME, Italy — Damiano David, frontman of the Italian rock band Måneskin, has launched a video for his cover of “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart,” originally by Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus. The video, which is currently streaming, features David performing at the iconic Forum Studio in Rome, a renowned location where the late composer Ennio Morricone once recorded.
David expressed his deep connection to the studio, stating, “Whenever I’ve had an urgent need to cut a song I’ve always done it at Ennio’s studio, so it was nice to go back and shoot this video and spend some proper time there. It really feels like you’re in the presence of an icon there, and especially being in my home of Rome, it always feels very special.”
This release comes in time for the Valentine’s Day special edition of his series, showcasing his artistry as he embarks on his first solo career journey. In 2024, David debuted his solo work with two singles, “Silverlines” and “Born with a Broken Heart,” setting the stage for his upcoming U.S. tour which begins in November.
