Marilyn Manson Announces 2025 North American Tour Amid Legal Battles
LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Shock-rock icon Marilyn Manson has announced a 2025 North American spring tour in support of his latest album, “One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1.” The tour kicks off May 2 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and includes stops in major cities such as Detroit, Boston, Atlanta, and Dallas. Tickets go on sale January 24 at 10 a.m. local time.
The announcement follows Manson’s sold-out European tour in February 2025. The North American leg will feature 16 dates, culminating in a performance at Dallas’ Dos Equis Pavilion on May 25. Manson’s new touring band includes returning members Tyler Bates on guitar and Gil Sharone on drums, alongside newcomers Reba Meyers of CODE ORANGE and Matt Montgomery, formerly of ROB ZOMBIE.
“One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1,” released in November 2024 via Nuclear Blast Records, marks Manson’s first album since 2020’s “We Are Chaos.” The album debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the Top Rock Albums chart. Manson previewed the record with singles “Raise The Red Flag,” “As Sick As The Secrets Within,” and “Sacrilegious,” the latter of which he performed live for the first time in August 2024.
The tour announcement comes amid ongoing legal battles for Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner. Over the past four years, the 56-year-old musician has faced multiple allegations of sexual, emotional, and physical abuse from several women, including actress Evan Rachel Wood. Manson has denied all accusations and has countersued some of his accusers. Several lawsuits have been dismissed by judges.
Manson’s return to the stage in 2024 marked his first live performances since the pandemic. He joined FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH’s summer arena tour as a supporting act, wrapping up in September 2024. His last headlining tour concluded in August 2019.
Despite the controversies, Manson’s fan base remains loyal. His partnership with Nuclear Blast Records, announced in May 2024, signaled a new chapter in his career. The label released his latest singles and album, which have been met with mixed critical reception but strong commercial performance.
For now, Manson is focused on the road. “This tour is about connecting with the fans who have stood by me through everything,” Manson said in a statement. “It’s time to bring the chaos back to the stage.”
