In her upcoming documentary titled “Martha,” set to premiere on October 30, 2023, Martha Stewart makes a startling revelation about her past marriage to publisher Andrew Stewart. The renowned homemaker admits to having an affair during her marriage, believing that her ex-husband never discovered her infidelity.

A preview of the documentary features an interview with Stewart, wherein she advises young women, “If you’re married and your husband starts to cheat on you, he’s a piece of s–t. Get out of that marriage.” This statement is reported to have sparked considerable drama.

The documentary’s trailer includes a moment where a producer inquires about Stewart’s affair earlier in her life. To this, the 83-year-old entrepreneur responds candidly, “Yeah, but I don’t think Andy ever knew about that.”

Martha Stewart and Andrew Stewart divorced in 1990 after 29 years of marriage, during which they welcomed a daughter, Alexis Stewart, in 1965. Andrew Stewart’s affair with Martha’s former assistant, Robyn Fairclough, is cited as another factor contributing to their separation.

Following the release of these revelations, Andrew Stewart is reportedly “furious” about being drawn into the public eye once more. According to anonymous sources, “Neighbors of Andy and his children say the publisher is furious as he is very private and feels he’s dragged into the drama … again,” reported NY Post writer Emily Smith.

The couple’s daughter, Alexis Stewart, now 59 and known as a TV and radio host, has yet to comment publicly on the documentary’s release or its content.

Attempts have been made to reach Andrew Stewart for a statement, but he has not yet responded to requests for comment.
