Masked Singer Nessy Costume Reveal Performance

LOS ANGELES, California — In the latest episode of Fox‘s hit reality singing competition, The Masked Singer, judge Ken Jeong makes a bold guess about the identity of Nessy during “Decades Night” this Wednesday.

During the episode, Ken proposes that Grammy-winning rocker Patrick Monahan, lead singer of the band Train, could be hiding behind the Nessy mask. His speculation arises from Monahan’s friendship with Kevin Cronin, lead singer of REO Speedwagon. “I think this could be Pat Monahan of Train because he is really good friends with Kevin Cronin of REO Speedwagon,” Ken noted during the show, referencing their history of performing together.

His fellow judges, Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, and Rita Ora, joined the conversation, with Robin expressing agreement. “Vocally, that makes sense,” he remarked, indicating that Monahan’s singing style aligns with Nessy’s performances.

This week, the contestants will deliver hits from various iconic eras, including renditions of “Stop! In The Name Of Love,” “Love Yourself,” “Can’t Fight This Feeling,” and “Hard to Handle.” Each contestant aims to impress the judges and viewers, as one celebrity will automatically advance to the Lucky Six, while the others will face off in a competitive Battle Royale.

As the season progresses, many participants have already been revealed, including Cedric the Entertainer as Honey Pot, Aubrey O’Day as Ant, James Van Der Beek as Griffin, and Method Man as Stud Muffin. With eight celebrities now unmasked, audiences are eager to discover who will be next.

The Masked Singer, known for its suspenseful reveals and celebrity performances, airs on April 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox. Viewers are invited to tune in and join in the speculation about Nessy’s true identity.
