Mcdonald's Mccrispy Strips With Dip

Oak Brook, IllinoisMcDonald's is set to satisfy fans’ chicken cravings by permanently bringing back its chicken strips, now named McCrispy Strips. The new item will be paired with a unique sauce offering, Creamy Chili McCrispy Strip Dip. Both items are scheduled to hit participating restaurant menus on May 5.

The fast-food giant teased the return on social media, stating in an Instagram post, “warning to all sauces McCrispy Strips and dip drop 5.5.” This announcement follows significant demand for chicken strips, which McDonald’s has noted as remarkable across the industry.

“We knew we had to deliver something so craveable that it was worth the wait,” said Alyssa Buetikofer, McDonald’s Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer. “We took our time, listened to our fans, and created a product we knew they would crave. And the best part is we’re just getting started.”

According to McDonald’s, the McCrispy Strips will feature 100% white meat with a crispy breading, highlighted by a new black pepper flavor. Customers can order the strips in sets of three or four, each paired with one or two of the creamy chili dip sauces. There is also an option to swap sauces based on personal preference.

The reintroduction of chicken strips is part of a broader strategy, with McDonald’s indicating interest in expanding market share in the chicken segment, which may include fan-favorite snack wraps, by the end of 2026.
