Mcdonald's Mcvalue Menu Items

McDonald’s is set to launch its new McValue menu on January 7, 2025, in an effort to enhance its value proposition and attract more price-sensitive customers. The McValue menu will include a variety of deals such as the $5 Meal Deal, exclusive in-app offers, local food and drink specials, and a new Buy One, Add One for $1 deal.

The $5 Meal Deal, which has been successful in driving traffic during the third quarter of 2024, will be extended through summer 2025. This offer includes a choice of either a McDouble or McChicken sandwich, small fries, four-piece Chicken McNuggets, and a small drink.

The Buy One, Add One for $1 deal will be available for both breakfast and lunch/dinner items. For breakfast, customers can choose from a Sausage McMuffin, sausage biscuit, sausage burrito, and hash browns. For lunch/dinner, the options include a six-piece Chicken McNuggets, double cheeseburger, McChicken, and small fries.

McDonald’s developed the McValue platform in collaboration with its franchisees to allow customers to define value on their own terms. This approach aims to improve customer perception of affordability, which has been a challenge for the chain given rising prices and recent sales declines. The platform also incorporates local deals, allowing franchisees the flexibility to include their own special offers.

The launch of the McValue menu is part of McDonald’s broader strategy to recover from recent setbacks, including an E. coli outbreak tied to slivered onions in Quarter Pounders, which significantly impacted consumer traffic. The chain hopes that this new value platform will help boost traffic and sales in the fourth quarter and beyond.
