The third and final season of the acclaimed series premieres Thursday, marking the end of a journey that has resonated deeply with fans.

Good, 43, who plays Camille, a Columbia University professor of sex and love, described the show as a transformative experience. u201cThis definitely has been the best professional experience Iu2019ve had in my entire career,u201d she said during an interview last week. u201cIu2019m just thankful for the journey and Iu2019m thankful to be loved.u201d

u201cHarlem,u201d created by Tracy Oliver, follows four Black women navigating love, friendships, and careers in Manhattanu2019s historic neighborhood. The series, which survived the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and Hollywood strikes, has cultivated a loyal fan base. Jerrie Johnson, who plays Tye, a queer dating app designer, praised the show for filling a cultural void. u201cIf you really think about shows about New York, itu2019s almost like purposefully excluding Black people,u201d Johnson said. u201cTracy brilliantly filled that hole.u201d

Goodu2019s personal life has also been under the spotlight, particularly her relationship with Majors, who faced legal troubles in 2023.
