Michael Biemolt Named President of Digital Sales at Audacy

NASHVILLE, TN — Audacy has promoted Michael Biemolt to President of Digital Sales, effective immediately. In his new position, Biemolt will lead all national and local digital sales strategies, focusing on the company’s commitment to expanding its digital footprint.
Biemolt, who previously served as Executive Vice President of Digital Audio, played a pivotal role in enhancing Audacy’s national sales operations. His career at Audacy began more than three decades ago, starting at WBBM-FM in Chicago, where he rose from Promotions Director to Marketing Director before advancing to senior roles within CBS Radio and CBS Television.
Bob Philips, Audacy’s Chief Revenue Officer, who recently resumed his position, will oversee Biemolt in this new role. The promotion follows a growing emphasis on digital innovation within the company. Chris Oliviero, Audacy’s Chief Business Officer, expressed confidence in Biemolt’s abilities. “Our growing digital portfolio will benefit from this new organizational structure,” he stated. “Michael’s expertise and creativity will unlock new opportunities and enhance results for our teams.”
