Mild Weather Pattern Continues in Southern California and Las Vegas

LOS ANGELES, California — Southern California is expected to experience mild temperatures this week as a small cold front moves through the area on Friday.
In Los Angeles and Orange counties, residents can anticipate morning clouds with afternoon sunshine. High temperatures will reach around 75 degrees with a low of 65. The valleys and Inland Empire will be slightly warmer, with highs of 78 and lows at 58.
Heading towards the beaches, temperatures are predicted to drop due to a thicker marine layer. Friday will see highs of 69 degrees and lows near 60. In mountain areas, expect sunny skies but chilly temperatures, peaking at 59 degrees with a low of 35.
Meanwhile, the deserts will remain warm, with Friday registering a high of 74 and a low of 56. Palm Springs is forecasted to reach a high of 91 degrees.
Meanwhile, in Las Vegas, the National Weather Service anticipates gusting winds on Friday, with speeds reaching up to 40 mph. A wind advisory has been issued for areas such as the Spring Mountains and Red Rock Canyon, where gusts could exceed 50 mph.
Drivers on Interstate 15 are advised to remain cautious due to potentially hazardous conditions across much of San Bernardino County. The advisory is in effect until 8 p.m. Friday.
While no significant rain is expected in Las Vegas, there is a slim chance for light rainfall in northeastern Clark County. The upcoming weekend is forecast to be sunny with temperatures hitting a high of 80 degrees on Saturday and 82 on Sunday.
