Minecraft Movie Available for Digital Purchase After Theatrical Success

LOS ANGELES, CA — The highly anticipated film, A Minecraft Movie, is now available for digital purchase and rental as of May 13, 2025, after a successful theatrical run. Directed by Jared Hess, known for his work on Napoleon Dynamite, the movie features a star-studded cast including Jason Momoa, Jack Black, Danielle Brooks, Sebastian Hansen, and Emma Myers.
The film, based on Mojang Studios‘ popular sandbox video game, follows four misfits who are mysteriously sucked into the Overworld, a world made entirely of cubes.
