Miss Colorado and USAFA Graduate, Madison Marsh, Becomes First Active-Duty Air Force Officer to Win Miss America
In an unprecedented achievement, Madison Marsh, a recent graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA) and the reigning Miss Colorado, made history by becoming the first active-duty Air Force officer to be crowned Miss America. Marsh, a 22-year-old from Fort Smith, Arkansas, completed her degree in Physics, with a specialization in Astronomy, at the USAFA in 2023. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Policy at the prestigious Harvard Kennedy School.
As Miss America 2024, Marsh will assume a year-long reign and receive a substantial $50,000 scholarship. She is now set to embark on a journey that combines her military service and her passion for public policy.
