Missing Florida Woman Found Safe
A 27-year-old woman from Florida, Jessica Rapsys, has been found safe in South Carolina after being reported missing earlier this week.
Jessica was traveling from Jacksonville, Florida, to visit family when she went missing. She was last seen on Tuesday evening in Allendale County.
Authorities found her car abandoned later that night, stuck on railroad tracks in Martin, South Carolina. Inside the car, Jessica’s keys, shoes, and cell phone were still there, which raised concerns about her wellbeing.
Allendale County Sheriff James Freeman shared that finding Jessica was a team effort, saying, “We all worked together and did not give up hope.” Thankfully, she was located safe and is now being taken to a hospital for evaluation and treatment.
Jessica’s family expressed their gratitude towards everyone who helped in the search and requested privacy during this time.
